Police arrested 24 people suspected of selling cars that were involved in serious accidents and then fixed in Palestinian Authority garages, Israel Radio reported.
Reportedly, the detainees forged documents to hide the fraud.
Police was also investigating several vehicle examiners who are suspected of collaborating with the sellers, as well as owners of tow trucks who were involved in bringing the vehicles from the Palestinian Authority back into Israel.
