Central District Police said Wednesday it had caught the biggest criminal gang that had ever operated in the region. The gang was allegedly involved in stealing cars and selling them to traders in the Palestinian territories.
Six members of the gang were remanded in custody until next Tuesday.
Police suspected that the gang was responsible for more than 300 car thefts in one month.
