Police combing hitchhiking posts found a 23-year-old Egyptian man on Wednesday who had infiltrated Israel through Jordan.
Initial investigations found that the man entered Israel by swimming across the Dead Sea. He first snuck into Jordan through Egypt.
The suspect was caught a kilometer north of Ein Fascha, near the Dead Sea.
Police were taking the infiltrator for further interrogation.
