Four men have been arrested for downloading pornographic pictures of children from the Internet as part of an international operation that involved 20 countries.
The police said on Saturday that they arrested the men on Tuesday and Wednesday, following a request from Spanish police, who had been carrying out a three-year investigation into the sharing of child pornography.
The men, all of whom are in their 30s, are from Beersheba, Nahariya, Lod and Ashdod and are suspected of having downloaded dozens of pictures. They have been conditionally released.
