Police investigate youths in sex service pranks

Jerusalem police said Tuesday that they were investigating reports by two Israeli youths that their phone numbers were listed on the Internet by classmates for sex services. One of the complainants, a 12-year-old girl, told police that she was getting calls on her cell phone from male teens and men who thought she was offering sexual services, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said. Police detained a female classmate who confessed that she had published the girl's number in revenge for a similar prank she thought the girl was planning against her. A second male classmate was detained in the second case but has denied involvement in the affair.
