Police petitioned the High Court on Friday to postpone the evacuation of the Beit Shapira home in Hebron - whose ownership is in dispute and has been taken over by settlers - until after the weekend.
They cited the concern that the operation would not be completed before the commencement of Shabbat, and fears of clashes with local Muslims returning from Friday prayers.
