Former Balad chairman Azmi Bishara, who resigned from the Knesset Sunday in absentia and who is facing serious criminal allegations, will be arrested as soon as he sets foot back in Israel, the Israel Police said.
A police source involved in the Bishara investigation said that Bishara had damaged the country's security by his alleged contacts with Hizbullah during the Second Lebanon War, Israel Radio reported.
