Accusations made by Labor runner-up Ami Ayalon of voter fraud and forgery in the recent Labor primary elections appear to have merit.
Channel 10 cameras revealed Thursday night voters from an Arab village dressing in costume in order to vote twice, as well as voters being threatened to vote a certain way. One witness said he saw peole voting twice.
In one instance, a Channel 10 crew in the Beduin village of Kuseifa, near Beersheba, counted 62 voters entering the voting station throughout the day. A check of the election results from Kuseifa at the end of the voting day showed a list of 427 voters from there.
Newly-elected Labor Chairman Ehud Barak won the votes in Kuseifa by 60 percent to 40 percent.
