Prosecution opposed to prolonging Rosenstein case

The State Prosecution informed the Supreme Court that it opposed underworld figure Ze'ev Rosenstein's request to hold an additional hearing over his extradition to the United States, Army Radio reported. Around two weeks ago, Supreme Court President Aharon Barak decided that Rosenstein would remain in Israel until a decision was reached in his case. Rosenstein is wanted to stand trial in the United States for ties to drug smuggling worth tens of millions of dollars.
