A mass demonstration calling on the government to authorize a state inquiry commission to probe the handling of the war in Lebanon is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. at Tel Aviv's Rabin Square Saturday night.
Police expect tens of thousands of people to turn up for the rally, organized by the Movement for Quality Government and army reservist groups.
Streets leading to the square will be closed to traffic starting at 7:30 p.m.
