Ramon: Despite gov't decision, there are negotiations with Hamas

Deputy Prime Minister, Haim Ramon, acknowledged on Monday that Israel is conducting negotiations with Hamas- in contrast to the government's decision on the matter. "We are conducting negotiations with Hamas in contrast to the government's decision, which has determined that it will only be possible to deal with Hamas after they accept the conditions of the Quartet," Ramon stated during a Gaza policy discussion which was held at a Kadima faction meeting.
