Regev and Goldwasser families say they heard of swap deal from media

The families of kidnapped reservists Eldad Regev and Ehud Goldwasser said Monday that they had only heard of the possibility of an impending prisoner swap deal that would see their sons released from Lebanon in exchange for terrorist Samir Kuntar from the Lebanese media. "These are only foreign reports, that we too are only updated of via the media," the families announced. "We did not receive any message or new information from official sources in Jerusalem." "We are hopeful that this time there is truth to the reports and Udi and Eldad's homecoming is indeed nearing," the families said.
