Report: 1/4 of soldiers at checkpoints abused Palestinians, or witnessed it

One out of every four IDF soldiers who manned a checkpoint during their army service said that they had either participated in or were directly exposed to abuse of Palestinians, Army Radio reported on Sunday.
According to the report, which quoted an IDF document published in Yediot Aharonot, the army would henceforth be more strict about requiring all soldiers assigned to duties in the territories to undergo education on the subject.
