Palestinian rocket fire on the western Negev continued Friday, with eight Kassam rockets fired from the Gaza Strip throughout the day.
One rocket landed in Sderot, and the others landed in open areas near the city and within the Gaza Strip. No casualties or damage were reported in the attacks.
Also Friday, three mortar shells fired from the northern Gaza Strip landed in the Eshkol region. No casualties or damage were reported.
On Thursday, a Kassam rocket landed near Sderot, causing no casualties or damage.
Meanwhile, hundreds of Palestinians demonstrated across the Strip on Friday, protesting settler violence in Hebron. The demonstrations were reportedly organized by Hamas.
