The security establishment was assessing on Tuesday that Itamar resident Eliyahu Asheri, who went missing on Sunday, was in fact kidnapped.
The assessment was based on circumstantial evidence, including a claim made by the Popular Resistance Committees that an Israeli was kidnapped in Judea and Samaria, though the IDF and Shin Bet had no concrete proof, Israel Radio reported.
