Police maintained a heightened security level which had been declared in advance of this week's Memorial Day and Independence Day ceremonies and celebrations.
As part of the heightened security, police increased their presence along the Green Line and in urban centers.
A full closure was enacted on the West Bank for the durations of the holidays.
