An elite Border Police unit arrested a wanted senior Tanzim operative allegedly involved in terror attacks and wounded a second wanted man on Tuesday night in the Balata refugee camp in Nablus.
The unit surrounded the house where the two men were staying, and when one tried to flee the building, police fired at him and wounded him in the lower body.
The fugitive received medical care on the spot, and was later moved to an Israeli hospital for further treatment.
During the firefights in the camp, a grenade was thrown at IDF troops. No IDF casualties were reported.
