Several streets closed for Tel Aviv centenary celebrations

Several streets in Tel Aviv will be closed for traffic on Saturday evening as the town celebrates its 100 anniversary. A massive concert will take place at the main Rabin Square, and all streets adjacent to the square will be blocked. Beginning at 4 p.m., segments of Rehov Ibn Gavirol were blocked between Arlozorov and Shaul Hamelech Avenue, Rehov Blich was blocked between Arlozorov and Rabin Square, King David Avenue from Rehov Weizmann to the square, Bialik Avenue between Rehov Hashoftim and the square and several other streets. Police said also that it would not allow private vehicles to park in the streets around the square. A special police hot-line was established for the celebrations. The number is 03-6801982/3.
