A car with a two-year-old child inside was stolen on Thursday night in Shfaram, an Arab city in the Galilee.
According to an initial investigation, the child's father had left him inside the car, with the engine running, to rent a movie from a DVD vending machine.
Large police forces set up roadblocks in the area, and two helicopters assisted officers in searching for the car.
It was found hours later with the child inside, alive and well.
