Shinui leaders meet gay commun. to discuss suicide

Amid recent statistics that one-third of youth suicides are related to issues surrounding sexual orientation, Shinui faction leaders met Tuesday with members of the gay/lesbian/transgender community to discuss issues of sexual orientation among youth. MKs including Collete Avital heard the stories of several teens. Afterwards they discussed how to increase awareness in the army and in public schools so that there would be a greater level of acceptance.
