The right-wing parties were to initiate on Monday a special Knesset meeting, which was expected to approve the establishment of a parliamentary investigative committee that would study police actions during the razing of the nine illegally built structures in Amona last week.
Knesset sources predicted that setting up such a committee this week might encounter legal difficulties, because the Knesset is not currently in session, Israel Radio reported.
Still, according the planners of the initiative, the Knesset may be able to vote on the matter already on Thursday.
On Sunday Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert rejected calls to establish such a committee.
