The leaders of the student strike were meeting late Sunday night with Education Minister Yuli Tamir and a representative of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in hopes of resolving the 18-day-old crisis, Israel Radio reported.
The students have been protesting the reforms of the Shochat Committee, which include raising tuition fees.
