Tel Aviv District Police arrested on Thursday morning a 28-year-old resident of the city who had 8.1 kilograms of hashish in his possession.
The man was released from prison only two months ago, where he was serving a sentence for similar crimes.
He will be brought before the Tel Aviv Magistrates' Court later in the morning, where police will request a remand extension.
