Tel Aviv store clerk allegedly stabbed in leg after customer refuses to pay

A clerk in a Tel Aviv convenience store was lightly wounded early Sunday morning when a customer allegedly stabbed him in the leg.
According to allegations, the customer, who was intoxicated, refused to pay for the products he took and when the store worker asked him to leave the premises, the suspect stabbed the worker in his leg and fled.
The clerk was subsequently taken to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.
Tel Aviv police have opened an investigation into the incident.
