The Temple Mount will be closed to Jewish and
Christian visitors for the next three days due to a Muslim holiday, police said Saturday.
The Jerusalem holy site is routinely closed to
non-Muslims during the Eid al-Adha holiday, which
began Saturday, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel
Ben-Ruby said.
The ancient compound will be reopened to Jews and
Christians on Tuesday.
Separately, Jerusalem police arrested four Arab teens and a Wakf official on the Temple Mount Saturday for allegedly hanging two large pictures of Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh and Palestinian flags on the El Aksa Mosque.
