Three arrested for weapons possession in Haifa

Three Haifa residents were arrested on Tuesday after police found a Kalashnikov rifle, four magazines and some 200 bullets in their possession. The suspects, aged 37, 34 and 17, were all members of the same family - one known to police for its ongoing feud with another family. The three were being interrogated at the Haifa police station. Police were also looking into the suspicion that the weapons were used for criminal purposes and that shots were fired from the gun on Saturday in the Halisa neighborhood, causing damage to a number of cars.
