One person was lightly wounded by shrapnel and two others were suffering from shock after a Kassam rocket fired from the Gaza Strip landed in a Sderot street early Sunday morning, causing damage. The shrapnel victim was evacuated to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon. A second rocket landed in open territory in the western Negev. No wounded or damage were reported. Last week, at least nine Kassam rockets were fired at the western Negev from Gaza. No one was reported wounded in any of those incidents.
