More than 50 golfers competed in the firstever "Twilight Tournament" at Gaash Golf Club on Wednesday.
The prize presentation ceremony for the ninehole individual Stableford tournament was held in a postcard-perfect setting, on the patio of the Albatross Bistro Bar as the sun set.
Greg Kopels won the ADivision for handicaps 0-18, with 21 Stableford points. Newly elected club captain Avi Dagan finished in second with 19 points.
Eli Shetayat (20) edged Lulu Press (18) for the BDivision title.
Roz Brodie and Marianne Baumeyer topped the women's knock-out match play pairs competition, followed by Hadassa Alon and Anthia Silove.
The Gaash Golf Club has acquired the franchise for the lucrative "International Pairs" Competition, which the club will host in July.
The winners of this tournament will participate in The International Pairs 2006 World Final, to be held in Wales on the Celtic Manor course. Please submit items for 'Games We Play' via e-mail to
