Shootings attributed by police to an underworld conflict occurred in Acre over the weekend, resulting in a homicide and injuries. Early on Friday, three men sitting in a water pipe cafe in the Old City were shot at by an unknown gunman. One person was taken to a hospital in serious condition, suffering from a gunshot wound. Two additional men are in moderate condition, police say. A manhunt for the would-be assassin has been launched. On Saturday, a 30-year-old man was shot dead in a cafe in Acre's Old City, in what police say is a reprisal attack. The gunshot victim was rushed to the Nahariya Hospital for the Western Galilee, but was pronounced dead by doctors shortly after arrival. The Galilee district Police's Central Unit has been charged with leading the investigation into the shootings. In the village of Kafr Kassam, detectives from the National Serious and International Crimes Unit uncovered a LAW missile during a raid on a suspect on Thursday. Police were acting on an intelligence tip, and suspect the missile was stolen from an IDF base and sold to criminals, who planned to fire the projectile at underworld rivals. A 32-year-old man was stabbed to death in the Arab village of Jadida, in the western Galilee on Thursday. The stab victim, of Acre, was rushed to the Nahariya Hospital in mortal condition, and was pronounced dead by doctors. Police believe the stabbing took place in the midst of a brawl. A murder investigation has been launched, but no suspects have so far been arrested. Earlier, a 33-year-old man was shot dead in the village of Kara, in Galilee, in what police are describing as a criminally motivated incident. The murder victim was shot in his car as he was driven by his partner. A 34-year-old man was rushed to Haifa's Rambam Hospital in critical condition after a grenade he was holding blew up, according to police. The man died of his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital. In the center, several brawls and stabbings were reported over the weekend. In Tel Aviv, a 20-year-old man was found by paramedics with a stab wound early on Saturday morning. He was evacuated to the Sourasky Medical Center in Tel Aviv in serious condition. Police say the circumstances surrounding the attack were not immediately clear. Earlier on Saturday morning, a brawl broke out at a Tel Aviv nightclub, prompting a doorman to fire a number of warning shots in the air. Police say the incident began when a number of youths attempted to forcefully enter the nightclub after being refused entry. Police arrested the bouncer, 42, and two suspects, residents of the Beduin town of Rahat in the Negev. The club, 'Floor,' was closed down by police as the investigation continues. On Friday afternoon, the body of a 40-year-old woman was discovered in a south Tel Aviv brothel. A police forensics unit identified injuries on the woman's body, and police have launched a murder inquiry. Petah Tikva was the scene of several stabbings early on Friday and Saturday. On Saturday morning, an 18-year-old was taken to the Beilinson hospital with stab wounds, and is in moderate to serious condition, police said. Nine suspects have been detained by police in connection with the stabbing. Police say a fight broke out between two teenagers. One suspect has been arrested in possession of a knife. On Friday, a 20-year-old soldier stabbed and moderately injured his 60-year-old neighbor during a fit of rage sparked by a door slammed by the neighbor. Police say that after slamming his bathroom door shut, the neighbor saw the lights in his apartments dim, and headed outside to the fuse box in the building hallway to try and fix the problem. The neighbor was then set upon by the soldier, and stabbed repeatedly with a screw driver, police said. Paramedics found the man suffering from a number of stab wounds and bleeding at the building entrance. He was rushed to the Beilinson Medical Center in Petah Tikva. Police have arrested the alleged stabber. Earlier, a mass brawl broke out in Petah Tikva between intoxicated youths outside of a night club. Several youths produced knives and stabbed one another, police said. One person was moderately stabbed during the fight, and two suffered light injuries. The injured were evacuated to the Beilinson Medical Center. During a third stabbing incident in Petah Tikva, a man was lightly injured by an attacker brandishing a knife near the city market. The injured man was rushed by Magen David Adom paramedics to the Beilinson Medical Center.
