Victim of 2002 terror attack dies of his wounds

A 57-year-old man wounded in a Haifa suicide bombing seven years ago has died Saturday, becoming the terror attack's 16th victim. Shimon Shiran was dining at city's Matza Restaurant with his wife and 17-year-old daughter, herself killed in the attack, when a suicide bomber blew himself up on March 31, 2002. Shiran died of his wounds after being hospitalized in a coma since the bombing.
