Mother of 3-year-old allegedly strangled by her father says he's lying; trial set to continue in October.

Liza Michael, mother of 3-year-old Noa Goldring, who was allegedly murdered by her father Assaf, lashed out against him during a hearing at the Petah Tikva District Court on Sunday morning.
The court accepted a request by Goldring's attorney to postpone the continuation of the murder trial until October.
"Murderer, you said you would stop lying," Michael shouted at Goldring, who confessed to strangling their daughter to death in his home in the village of Batzra, in the Sharon district of central Israel in late July.
Michael said that Goldring, who is claiming temporary insanity, "is trying to arouse empathy and escape punishment. He promised me he wouldn't hurt a hair on her head and he returned her to me purple and lifeless in a body bag."
The bereaved mother went on to say that she expected "the despicable murderer to be severely and justly punished."
Police believe Goldring choked his daughter, Noa, and then tried to commit suicide by slitting his wrists and attempting to overdose on sleeping pills.
His attorney, Gad Zilbershlag, said at the opening of the hearing that the evidence supports his client's claims that he was not thinking clearly when he strangled his daughter to death because he had consumed many sleeping pills shortly before the incident.
Goldring is in the midst of bitter divorce proceedings from his wife, and police have said they believe the murder to be linked to the separation. A letter by Goldring addressed to his wife was recovered by detectives in the home.
