Winograd C'tee member Dror: Schalit situation is 'lose-lose'

Winograd Committee member Prof. Yehezkel Dror commented on the negotiations for the release of captured IDF soldier Gilad Schalit on Sunday, which appear to be drawing to a conclusion, and said Israel was in a "lose-lose situation." "The issue is sensitive, but dealing with captives is a downward slope, and no matter what, Israel loses," he said during a conference at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya. "It's a lose-lose situation, not win-win," Dror continued. "Israel is going to come out of it badly and with significant damage."
