A 22-year-old Israeli woman was in light-to-moderate condition after being wounded overnight Saturday when a Palestinian terrorist exited a taxi and stabbed her in the back at a bus stop at the Gush Etzion junction.
Another man standing at the bus stop was unharmed.
The woman was evacuated to Jerusalem's Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital fully conscious with multiple stab wounds to her lower back.
Security forces set up roadblocks and scoured the area for the perpetrator, who was seen fleeing the scene on foot.
Meanwhile, two Kassam rockets were fired at Israel by terrorists in Gaza.
One of the rockets hit an open area in the western Negev, while the other landed on the Palestinian side of the security fence.
No one was wounded and no damage was reported.
