The Gur Hassic leader, Rabbi Aharon Leib Steinman, and Gerrer Rebbe Yaacov Alter have cancelled a planned fundraising visit to Canada following protests by the Satmar Hassidic community.
The Satmar Hassidim object to Steinman's support of the Nahal Haredi army service option and the Tal Law.
