US: Justice Dept. Nazi hunter vows to keep up work

The head of the US Justice Department's Nazi-hunting office vowed to persist in efforts to depart an 85-year-old Ukrainian-born man reputed to have been a Nazi death camp guard even if it takes years. Eli M. Rosenbaum, director of the Justice Department's Office of Special Investigations, which has brought successful cases against more than 100 men with Nazi pasts, said there is little he can say specifically about the case against John Demjanjuk because it is still in the legal system. But he said the government intends to persist. "There are people still crying for lost siblings and parents.
