Clean-up team gets to work in Beersheba

A special new team has begun working in Beersheba to remove public safety and environmental hazards and improve the appearance of the city's main streets, reports The new team, made up of professionals from various fields, was set up by Mayor Rubik Danilovitch as part of his stated policy to improve the look of the city. According to the report, the special team recently began work in the city's main streets, removing items that present safety and environmental hazards such as rusty iron, broken railings, cracked tiles and damaged benches. The team is also removing weeds and trimming tree branches that hinder pedestrians. A municipal spokesman said new garbage bins and benches would be placed on sidewalks within the next few weeks as part of the work.
