New property tax discount for disabled

Beersheba's disabled residents will receive an increased property tax discount following a unanimous decision by the city council recently, reports www.local.co.il. All disabled residents will now receive an 80 percent discount on the tax on their properties, regardless of size, rather than the 75% discount on just 100 square meters of each property, which has been the case until now. The report said the motion for the enlarged discount was brought forth by councilor Yossi Dadush.
