Ra'anana wins five stars in beauty contest

Ra'anana has been awarded five stars in the Council for a Beautiful Israel's 14th annual "Beautiful Town" competition, reports local.co.il. This year some 132 cities and towns participated in the contest, which judges their appearance, cleanliness, green areas and public buildings. The top award is a "beauty flag," which this year went to the city of Ashkelon, the Lehavim local council and the Emek Hayarden regional council. The next award is five stars, which went to a number of towns and cities, including Ra'anana.
