It sounds like something out of a car insurance commercial: Two furniture removers who wanted to get a large sofa out of a fourth-floor apartment in Tel Aviv decided to tie it with ropes and lower it to the ground from the balcony, reports www.local.co.il. Only the sofa proved too heavy and the men lost their balance and fell over the balcony's railing, plummeting - along with the sofa - down four stories only to land on a car parked below the building. The report said it was fortunate for the men that they had landed on the vehicle rather than directly on the ground, as they were injured relatively moderately, mostly suffering from broken bones. The car owner's response was not reported.
