From May 11-16, Mishkenot Sha'ananim in Jerusalem will host writers and authors from all around the world for Israel's first International Authors' Festival. Dedicated to literature translated into Hebrew, the festival will feature major international authors including Nadine Gordimer, Anita Diamant, Erri de Luca, Russell Banks, and many more. Israeli authors will include Aharon Appelfeld, David Grossman, A.B. Yehoshua, Eyal Meged, Eshkol Nevo, Amos Oz, Eli Amir, Sayed Kashua, Meir Shalev and Tsruya Shalev. The festival will include readings, workshops, meetings with authors, tours and a book fair.
