Palatable pastilles to the rescue
Bach Rescue Pastilles, suitable for the whole family, are flavorful candies that use the Original Bach Flower Remedy formula. Developed by Dr. Edward Bach nearly 100 years ago, the Rescue remedy is used around the world to relieve stress. The pastilles are ideal during exams and other trying situations. They come in a tin with an easy “press on the lid” opening and closing mechanism and are convenient to carry anywhere. The taste is very pleasant. I tried the black currant flavor, which has no added sugar.

Pro probiotics
With school under way and the weather changing every day, it’s also the time when many families bring out the antibiotics. To avoid too many illnesses this season, some experts suggest adding probiotics to not only your diet but also to that of your children. The new kids’ food supplement Probiotic LLG drops by Altman includes the LGG probiotics recommended by doctors around the world. It’s safe to use and easy to give to kids. According to the company, Altman’s research reveals that the drops help control stomach aches in children, reduce diarrhea in infants and youngsters, avoid upper-respiratory tract infections and more.

The same but different
As part of Osem’s new health strategy, the company has launched a new version of its all-time favorite cookie, the Petit Beurre. Made with 50% whole grains, the new cookie was added to the Nutritional Plus line that Osem introduced a few months ago. The new version will be sold in the same size packages and for the same price as the former one.
Tea, anyone?
Did you know that after water, tea is the most popular beverage around the world? Ireland is reportedly where tea is drunk more than anywhere else, with five cups per person per day. In comparison, in Israel the average is one cup in three days. This interesting information was provided by Pompadour tea, which offers two lines of tea and infusions. The green tea line features six flavors, and the fruit infusions include mint, chamomile, lemon-ginger, berries and more.

Lush lashes
When it comes to mascara, L’Oreal Paris is definitely the master, producing a new and even more effective mascara every season. This time, it’s the new Volume Million Lashes – Fatale mascara, with a multi-layer brush that loads each lash with a healthy dose of volume. The luscious black buildable formula contains intense pigments and, according to our tester, it really does add volume and thickness to her lashes. The company has added an application tip. Apply on lashes from root to tip, and move the brush from side to side across the base of your lashes to separate them to achieve ultimate definition.

Rich in protein
Not a sports fan or body builder, I was never interested in protein shakes. That is, until my doctor told me that I needed to add protein to my diet. The easiest way to make sure you get enough protein and not too many calories is by consuming one protein shake a day. So I tried the Herbalife Pro Max protein shake, which is recommended for those who train hard at the gym, and it’s not bad at all. The Pro Max powder has 25 grams of protein in each drink, 4.5 grams of amino-acids BCAA, three grams of glutamine and no artificial sweeteners or food coloring, making it ideal for muscle building. To prepare a protein shake, mix five level tablespoons of powder in 250 ml. of liquid (such as water, milk or milk substitute such as soy or almond drink).
