Fourteen Aksa Martyrs Brigades terror operatives gave themselves up to the Palestinian Authority Friday after escaping from a Nablus prison the previous day. Palestinian officials said that the inmates surrendered after negotiations with Palestinian security forces. The prisoners, who are wanted by the IDF, said Thursday they had escaped "to protest the prison administration not living up to agreements" with them. Israeli officials said the escape demonstrated the PA's inability to fight terror. Meanwhile, IDF troops arrested ten Palestinian fugitives in overnight operations in the West Bank. The detainees were transferred to security forces for interrogation.
