Syrian President Bashar Assad on Saturday night accused the US of attempted to achieve its goals by creating divisions among Muslim states.
Assad made the remark after a meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Teheran.
Ahmadinejad said that the Muslim world must remain unified.
