A roadside bomb killed a US soldier in central Baghdad, while another soldier died in a "non-combat incident," the US military said in separate statements Saturday.
One Multi-National Division-Baghdad soldier was killed at about 2:45 a.m. Friday in the capital, according to the statement. The attack occurred hours before clashes broke out on a volatile street near the heavily guarded Green Zone, prompting the Iraqi government to impose a curfew.
