Some 15,000 Palestinians led by dozens of gunmen firing in the air marched in Gaza City on Tuesday to protest Israel's raid of a Jericho prison in the West Bank.
The march took place as six Palestinians wanted by Israel for involvement in the murder of former minister Rehavam Ze'evi, surrendered to Israeli forces after a 10-hour standoff at the prison in the West Bank town of Jericho. The marchers chanted anti-Israeli and anti-American slogans.
The protesters marched toward the Palestinian parliament building in Gaza City.
