Two people were wounded when IDF aircraft fired two missiles at a car in Gaza City early Monday, Palestinian security officials said.
The officials and witnesses said the IDF was apparently aiming for a car driven by members of the Aksa Martyrs' Brigades, linked to Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah organization. The car escaped, but two bystanders were wounded, they said.
The witnesses said one of the two missiles failed to explode.
The IDF had no immediate comment.
