Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas huddled with Egyptian security officials on Friday after a recent flare in fighting between Hamas and Fatah gunmen.
The Egyptians have been heavily involved in Palestinian security issues and have a security delegation based in Gaza.
