"They [the injured] told us that while playing on the field, they were hit by shrapnel," Paramedic and director of the Petah Tikva MDA station Fadi Hamdan said.

Iranian missiles fall in central Israel, blow out walls of Ramat Gan apartment

A separate fall caused heavy damage to the ground-floor apartment of a building in Ramat Gan, according to Maariv. Two other apartments were damaged by the blast.

One apartment had a hole in its roof from the blast. At the other apartment, shrapnel was found strewn about, and the walls collapsed in, though an initial inspection indicates the damage did not affect the building's stability.

"We were in the shelter, and we heard, we knew it was ours. It was all dust and a loud boom, and the whole building shook; it was on us," Sara Ben Zion, one of the building's residents, told Maariv.
