Iraq: 2 military helicopters collide, killing two

Two American helicopters crashed after an apparent collision Sunday north of Baghdad, killing two soldiers and wounding five others, the US military said. The crash occurred southwest of Taji, 20 kilometers (12 miles) north of Baghdad, the military statement said. "An investigation will be conducted to determine the cause of the incident; however, initial reports indicated it appears to be from a mid-air collision and not the result of enemy fire," the statement said.
