Iraq and Serbia to boost military ties, officials say

Iraq's defense minister is discussing boosting military ties with Serbia during a visit to the Balkan country, media and officials said Wednesday.
Defense Minister Abdul-Qadir al-Obaidi arrived in Belgrade this week for a series of meetings with government leaders focusing on military cooperation, officials said.
The officials said the future cooperation could include military training and purchase of Serbian weapons by Iraq.
